Yorkshire celebrates 5th Anniversary of Arts Council England’s ‘Own Art’ with £1.5m of sales

In the five years since the launch of ‘Own Art’ in 2004, over £1.5 million worth of arts and craft have been purchased in Yorkshire – the third highest share of sales in the country - through Arts Council England’s interest-free loan scheme designed to make contemporary art affordable and accessible for all.
