Arts Council England announces Renaissance Major partner museums and details of the museum developme

Arts Council England has today (Tuesday 24 January 2012) announced the 16 Major partner museums who will together receive approximately £20 million a year in funding for the next three years (April 2012 – March 2015) as part of its Renaissance programme for regional museums.

Today, 21 June 2011, marks one year to go to the opening of the London 2012 Festival. The festival is the finale of the Cultural Olympiad - a 12 week UK-wide cultural celebration from 21 June - 9 September 2012, with millions of free and paid for tickets available for events featuring leading artists from all over the world. People can sign up now at www.london2012.com/festival to be first in line for information on the festival, and tickets when they go on sale in October.
