Leeds Wheelchair Racing

Sport

This exciting new project will consist of monthly wheelchair racing clinics for young people and adults with a disability. UKA qualified coaches will deliver the sessions at the indoor athletics centre and outdoor athletics track at the John Charles Centre for Sport, Leeds.

The clinics will cater for beginners through to advanced athletes, who have a physical disability. They will also provide further in-depth training opportunities to compliment the current weekly wheelchair racing sessions that take place at the Centre. All athletes will be signposted to the appropriate competitions and further performance pathways.
