5circles
Culture
5circles is a large circular stage that can be created in any city in the world, after dusk. The stage is created by strong, projected light, beaming down onto a city's central square. The ring itself houses a series of fully-interactive games inspired by the themes and values of London 2012.
Ahead of the Game
On Tuesday 15th June Yorkshire Gold Business Club (YGBC) hosted a new and exciting business conference designed to inspire and encourage Yorkshire and Humber businesses to get 'fit to compete' for opportunities around London 2012 and the 'Decade of Sport'. ‘Ahead of the Game’ took place at Bradford Football club and was the first business event in Yorkshire to be recognised by the Inspire programme.
Arches Partnership Games 2010

The 7th annual Arches Partnership Games took place on the 27th May 2010 at the English Institute for Sport, Sheffield. 1400 primary school children took part across a wide variety of sports and physical activities. This year’s event was bigger and better than ever before and included a special visit from Jonathan Edwards who was on hand to offer useful training tips to the children and present the Inspire mark!

Back to Sport (B2S) is a new programme that aims to harness the excitement and interest in London 2012 to drive participation with council workers in Sheffield. This year’s inaugural event took place on the 27 June 2010 with the last competition day taking place at the end of September. It is the first event of its kind in Yorkshire to be recognised by the Inspire programme.
Bollywood to Bradford

Bollywood to Bradford got people on their feet and moving to the beat of Bollywood at this year’s Bradford Mela. Taking place on the 12th and 13th of June, this exciting event saw a flashmob-style performance of a specially commissioned dance piece led by Zoobin Surty, an acclaimed Mumbai choreographer.
