World Goalball Championships, EIS Sheffield

The World Championships, which are held every four years, is the largest event in the sport's calendar and will bring together the top men's and women's teams from around the world.
Goalball is a disabled indoor sport for visually impaired men and women where players must pass a ball to score a goal on the opposition's side. As goals are only valid if the ball touches the floor, the sport normally involves the ball skimming across the court rather than being thrown.
The World Championships will be a great opportunity for people to come down to witness the incredible sport at the highest level and support the Great Britain team
