Sheffield Music City - London 2012 Open Weekend Event

This activity is part of the Sheffield - Lighting the Flame celebrations happening across Sheffield on the London 2012 Open Weekend. This is a brand new music festival with big name bands and activities for all. Inspired by Olympic and Paralympic ideals of internationalism and youth, the festival will have a World Music Stage and a Kids Zone. The World Stage has some of the best musicians playing blues, reggae and a host of other sounds. In the Kids Zone there’s music & dance performances for, and by, children and hands-on activities. The big screen will be showing films and interviews with Sheffield’s sporting stars.

25th July – 10am-5pm
