Village handover marks six months to go to London 2012

With exactly six months to go until the London 2012 Games, the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) will today hand over the Olympic and Paralympic Village site to the London 2012 Organising Committee (LOCOG).

The London 2012 Organising Committee (LOCOG) today announced that the under 16s Volunteer Performer Cast for the Olympic and Paralympic Ceremonies will be selected from schools in the six east London Host Boroughs.
